Factors to consider

*Location

In picking a location, pick a place or location that is unique to your family. I will travel to you or to a location of choice. Please understand that additional charges may apply based on the proximity to me. I do live on a farm with endless hayfields and treelines. You are always welcome to come to me. 

*Backdrops

Some families opt for a more themed look for their family sessions. Please message me for ideas with my assortment of backdrops.

*Clothing Options

I always get asked what colors should be worn. Truly, this is up to you. I always encourage blues, greens, yellows, and pinks. These photograph really well and are unique to the traditional black and white options. 

*Time of Day

This is very important for planning. Sunset pictures are great, but require special planning. During the winter months, the sunsets quickly. Midday pictures can be rough with the sum. I book family sessions in the morning hours or later afternoon.
